About Codes


In the email you recieved there are 5 unlock codes, in most cases the only code you will need is the first code, the Network MEP code (MEP2).

In some cases your phone maybe locked on a different lock or even more than 1 lock, for example Tesco Mobile uses the Service Provider lock (MEP4).

You can check which lock your phone is locked to in the personalisation screen, the lock the phone is locked to will show as active, see the example below,

Or when the phone prompts you to enter the code:

  • Enter SIM MEP Code = Use SIM MEP Code (MEP1).
  • Enter Network MEP Code = Use Network MEP Code (MEP2).
  • Enter Network Subset MEP Code = Use Network Subset MEP Code (MEP3).
  • Enter Service Provider MEP Code = Use Service Provider MEP Code (MEP4).
  • Enter Corporate MEP Code = Use Corporate MEP Code (MEP5).
